Randwick R1 – Pocketing

Looks perfectly placed in Midway Grade here, having his first crack at the mile!

Produced the 3rd-fastest L200 of the meet last start when beat just 0.7L over 1400, and should settle in the perfect position from the low draw.

Gets the services of Tim Clark, deserved favourite.

Flemington R2 – Elsa Of Arendelle

🔒Best Bet

Didn’t do much right on debut and still produced the 2nd fastest L200 of the entire meet at The Valley.

The straight 1000m at Flemington certainly suits and an improved showing can see her beat these.

Damian Lane sticks, looks a nice filly to follow!

Randwick R2 – Perspiration

Loved the win in listed grade at the end of last prep and bound to improve on that.

Race-fastest splits from the 800 home, looks a serious horse! 2nd horse, Gatsby’s, subsequently ran 5th behind Switzerland in the G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes, which is a good form line for this race.

Randwick R8 – Magic Time

Dual G1 winner, Flying. Big win first up in the Expressway and missed a place just once 2nd up.

Drawn to get a soft run yet again, not an abundance of speed on. Home in 32.2 latest (L200 was 10.56).

That was the fastest L600, 400, and 200 of the meet.

Flemington R9 – Ostraka

💰Value Bet

Yet to miss top 2 second up, and did enough first up for me from the outside gate in the Oakleigh Plate.

He’s won up to 1400, a big tick down the straight 6 at Flemington and I go back to the all the way win in the Silver Eagle last campaign.

Best is good enough, and a generous price is on offer!

Hawkesbury R7 – Koning

80k Inglis Digital buy for new connections, strong last furlong at Wyong last stat with good market support now gets a rise in trip.

He was placed over 1800 in Midway grade last preparation and I go back to a good effort on pace at the end of last campaign, 2nd in a bm72 at Warwick Farm, this is easier.

Ready to be in the winners circle again!

Toowoomba R3 – Forum One

She was a good winner over 2200 at Sunshine Coast 2 back and just got too far back at the Gold Coast last start, where they put speed on, and she couldn’t quite pick them up late and whacked away.

Comes back to a 58 again now, blinkers go back on! Raced consistently all prep, ready to break through again. Toowoomba master Nozi Tomizawa rides.
