Eagle Farm R3 – Jacob’s Ladder

Finds a Brisbane class 1 after an eye-catching maiden win at Canberra, following strong placings at Warwick Farm. Surged late last start, clocking the second-fastest last 400m and 200m of the entire meet. Step up to 1400m is ideal, and from a handy draw just off the speed, he’ll be within striking distance.

Eagle Farm R8 – Immoral

💰Value Bet

Form stacks up nicely against horses like Liquor and Termagant, another similar race here looks ideal. Just needs some luck in running, but the speed will be genuine, setting her up for another strong finish. In well with Emily Lang’s claim and loves Eagle Farm. Racing in good form, a win wouldn’t shock.

Eagle Farm R9 – French Endeavour

🔒Best Bet

Massive drop in class after finishing two lengths behind Amelia’s Jewel in Group 2 company latest. Hit the line hard, recording the 8th-fastest L200 of the meet. Prior to that, was good in a strong BM88 at Randwick. Finds a much easier assignment here and can power home over the top.

Rosehill R1 – Lugarno

Steps up from Class 1 to Midway grade, but the latest win was full of merit, holding off a smart horse in Kenmare Bay. Controlled the tempo, kicked strongly, and clocked the third-fastest last 400m of the meet. Up to 1500m suits, draws well, and will be prominent in the run. Big chance.

Rosehill R3 – Birdman

Highly touted European import,  G2 placed overseas. Has shown a sharp turn of foot in both runs this prep and now ready to peak. Drawn to settle midfield/just off midfield and has produced race-fastest late splits in both starts this time in. Looks ready to win—hard to hold out.

Rosehill R7 – Ceolwulf

Everything falls into place now—perfect draw, right race shape, and a step up to 1500m suits perfectly. Made up good ground late last start, running the 8th-fastest last 200m of the meet. Beat Pride of Jenni and Tom Kitten over a mile last prep, elite form now. Jury is out, today is his day.

Rosehill R9 – Growing Empire

💰Value Bet

Genuine Group 1 sprinter, super in the Manikato, The Everest, and the Coolmore Stud Stakes last prep. Returned fair so far this campaign but draws to get a softer run off the speed here. James McDonald booked, and with his turn of foot, will be right in the finish with any luck at all. Class runner at odds.

Moonee Valley R1 – Bur Dubai

🔒Best Bet

Lightly raced import who improved sharply stepping up to 2000m last start. Strong late, kept grinding, and finds a perfect race now rising to 2500m. Won over this trip in Europe, and the signs suggest he’s ready to peak. Expecting a breakthrough win.

Moonee Valley R9 – Jimmysstar

Put in a monster run in the Oakleigh Plate, storming home from 2nd last to win, running a sizzling 32.9s for the last 600m—the fastest of the meet. Draws much better now and with that devastating turn of foot, can beat anything. Winning again!

Moonee Valley R11 – Mytemptation

Unbeaten and keeps stepping up. Took on BM84 company last start and was simply too good. Craig Williams sticks, and from an ideal spot on speed, she’ll be right in the fight again. Doesn’t know how to lose and can sustain a high cruising speed. Tough to beat again.
