Doomben R4 – Spacewalk
🔒 Best Bet
Absolutely flying without winning. Ran 2nd-fastest L600 of the Eagle Farm meet two back and again powered home last start at Gosford from wide gates. Now draws slightly better, gets J-Mac, and everything points to peak performance. Time to cash in—top bet in Brisbane.
⸻
Doomben R7 – Polymnia
Won her maiden untouched at $1.14, then placed in back-to-back G3 and G1 assignments. Huge effort latest from the tail when G1-placed at Morphettville. Still improving and comes up to QLD now. Very classy filly—hard to beat.
⸻
Doomben R8 – Fawkner Park
Closes off powerfully and now finds a suitable race with the tempo likely strong. Has form behind Via Sistina earlier this prep and is crying out for luck in running. If the gaps come—watch him fly home over the top. Should turn the tables now, has a class edge.
⸻
Doomben R9 – Freedom Rally
💰 Value Bet
Consistent galloper who rarely runs poorly. Draws ideally and looks set to stalk the speed. Loves Doomben and gets his chance in a winnable race. In premier stable that should see him peak during the carnival. Expecting him to box on into the money—each-way all day.
⸻
Randwick R3 – Cyclone Rupert
💰 Value Bet
Flew late at both runs back, including the fastest L200 of the meet first-up (L600 32.4) and another storming close at Wagga. Drawn to stalk the main danger and brings strong late splits to the table. Great overs—each-way knockout chance.
⸻
Randwick R7 – Zaphod
🔒 Best Bet
Super consistent and was unlucky not to win last start in stronger grade. Drops to a BM88, fitter now second-up, and maps for the run of the race from a lovely draw. Should simply be too good for these—strong bet.
⸻
Sandown R6 – Sayedaty Sadaty
💰 Value Bet
Lightly raced import who’s yet to show his best in Australia but has serious overseas credentials. Recent jump out was sharp and he draws the paint with no weight. Gets his chance fresh—each-way bet with upside.
⸻
Sandown R9 – Hughes
Solid placing in similar grade last start and continues to run time. Strong late splits at Caulfield two back (7th-fastest L400 of the meet). Maps to get the right run off tempo and ready to win. Looks a major player again.
