Sunshine Coast R2 – The Terminator

Well-backed on debut at Newcastle—always a good sign. Didn’t fire last start but has since been gelded and trialled impressively. Resumes for a good yard and looks a big improver. Expecting a sharp turnaround—each-way chance.

Sunshine Coast R5 – Redzoust

Forget the latest when bogged down on a heavy track—still ran the 8th-fastest L400 of the meet. Drops back from Saturday company into easier grade and returns to firmer footing. Will love the big Sunshine Coast circuit—can bounce back hard.

Sunshine Coast R6 – Pyrois

🔒Best Bet

Blew them away on debut in QLD, running the fastest L600, 400 and 200 of the meet. Only just missed next start on a heavy 10. Now back on top of the ground where he will be more comfortable —this is his race. Super consistent and very hard to beat.

Mudgee R4 – A Bar In Paris

Smart trial winner at Rosehill and resumes with upside. Showed natural speed on debut and has clearly improved since. Drops into country grade and looks to have more talent than most of these. Big watch.

Mudgee R5 – Iona Benz

🔒Best Bet

Two strong wins last prep and brings a great SP profile, started $1.22 in latest win. Drops from provincial 64 to a country BM58—massive class drop. From a leading yard and looks a standout on paper. Maps well and should be too strong—top chance.

Stawell R3 – Lane Changer

💰Value Bet

Made strong ground late last start at Geelong, clocking the 10th-fastest L200 of the day. Screaming out for 1600m and gets that here. With a soft draw and expected improvement, she’s a live chance at odds. Each-way all day.

Stawell R5 – Ravalli

Classy former Singapore galloper with 4 wins from 9. Showed speed in a recent jump out and looks forward enough to strike fresh. Well placed in a BM70, drawn to get every chance—likely to measure up to better races. Strong push!

Stawell R7 – Precious Charm

🔒Best Bet

Dominant winner of the Edenhope Cup, storming home and running the 3rd-fastest L400 of the meet over 2000m. Strong metro form before that and has now won 6 of 15. Flying—hard to see them stopping her here. Best of the day.
