Cairns R8 – Lady Damus

Caught the eye with a blistering first-up win in BM65 grade, rocketing home in 32.56. Drops back to a BM60 now with top jockey Wiggins aboard and draws perfectly in gate 3. Has race fitness now, she’ll be very hard to beat again.

Gosford R4 – Hampden

🔒Best Bet

Placed in his last two with strong support and brings solid European form to the table. Back on top of the ground, he maps to lead from the low draw and control the race. This looks perfect, expecting him to break through now. Confident push.

Gosford R8 – Manwe

Explosive fresh form, including a slashing return last prep where he ran the second-fastest last 600m of the meet. First up for the new stable here and drops back to provincial level. Drawn to get every chance—looks ready to strike. Keen to back.

Pakenham R1 – Pure Passion

Huge two runs to kick off her career, especially two back at Flemington where she ran the fastest L600, L400, and L200 of the entire meet. Forgive latest around The Valley—this suits much better. Far too good for maiden grade and should be winning with the race experience under her belt.

Pakenham R5 – Lowlands

Scratched from tougher midweek grade to run here and finds a winnable BM64. Flew late first-up at this track, running the fastest L600 and L400 of the day. Now third-up, fitter, drawn well, and ready to peak—tough to beat at a good price.

Pakenham R8 – Queen Of Tuscany

💰Value Bet

Has been launching late in stronger races—running race-fastest splits in BM74 and BM78 grade last couple. Drops significantly in class here to a BM64 against her own sex. Back to a track she’s won at, and with any luck from the draw, she can easily blouse them late. Great each-way play.
