Ipswich R2 – Starsonus

Flashed late first-up with the fastest last 200m of the meet and has placed in his last 3 starts—each time as favourite. Ryan Maloney sticks, and while the gate is sticky, his form reads strongest in this field. With any luck early, he’s the one to beat.

Ipswich R3 – Sammaan City

Debuts for a new stable and brings smart Melbourne form—started $1.45 two back which says plenty. Recent trial was sharp and he finds a very winnable race fresh. Big watch and worth having something on.

Ipswich R9 – Fistsoffury

Group-class galloper returning to midweek grade. Form around Another Wil, Socks Nation and a 4th in the G2 Tulloch stacks up massively here. Expect sharp improvement second-up—on his best, he wins this comfortably.

Ipswich R10 – Anavinci

Gets the race shape she needs with a genuine tempo up front. Placed at Rosehill two back running the 3rd fastest L600 of the meet, then solid again in Saturday grade at Eagle Farm. Drops in class, well weighted with Lang’s claim, and perfectly drawn. Right in this.

Hawkesbury R3 – Full Hao

Big debut effort, storming home with the fastest last 200m of the meet. Trialled again since, draws perfectly in gate 1 and gets Tyler Schiller. Breeding suggests she’ll relish a mile, incredibly tough to beat.

Hawkesbury R5 – Saganti

Classy import who was massive on Australian debut in the G3 Rosehill Cup behind Fawkner Park. Ran slick splits and resumes here off two solid trials. Expect him to be better again this prep—drawn well and looks ready for a strong return, one to follow this campaign.

Sandown R4 – Happy Link

Beat a future dual Group 1 winner in Treasurethe Moment last start—form doesn’t get stronger. Has placed in both previous fresh runs and comes in off two jump outs. Draw tricky but has the turn of foot to overcome it. Follow this prep—serious upside.

Sandown R6 – Heavenly Shades

🔒Best Bet

Dominant maiden winner then stepped up to BM70 and started fav—ran well despite defeat, clocking race-fastest mid-race splits. Drops to BM64, up in trip, perfect draw—ticks every box and looks very hard to beat. Best of the day.

Sandown R8 – Sun God

💰Value Bet

European import with strong staying form—was a Newmarket winner before arriving. First-up run was just a warm-up over the shorter trip in BM84 grade around tight turning track. Now up to 2100m and back to BM70, expect sharp improvement. Massive chance at odds—each way play.
