Genuine trier who’s been flirting with a maiden win all prep. Proven on synthetic and soft, and back to turf with blinkers first time is a big tick. Maps sweetly from barrier 1 and looks ready to give her all. Don’t discount.
12 NIGHTIME STAR – $5
Caught the eye late in her debut, working home from the back on a heavy track. Back on home soil, gets Meech on, and drawn to get every favour. Can take a big step with natural improvement and looks a knockout chance.
13 ROMANTIC MISS – $4.6
Two runs as a juvenile were full of intent, both time leading and giving cheek. Jumpouts have been solid and the tongue tie goes on. Will punch forward and try to steal it. Not the worst.
Race 6 – McCarthy Trailer Screens BM56 Handicap (1400 METRES)
2 TREMAMORE – $9.5
Tough win last start when ridden with intent. Veteran of the grade and can carry weight. Gets in light with the claim and Wilde knows how to keep them ticking over. If she repeats that effort, she’s in this up to her eyeballs.
3 HIDE YOUR ASSETS – $3.7
Racing well this prep and put them away in strong fashion last time out. Comes into this with the right platform and strikes a winnable race. Will need luck from a tricky draw but clearly going well enough to win again.
5 SYMPHONITE – $4.2
Hit the line hard in stronger grade and now back to BM56. Racing with confidence and maps to get a midfield trail. Has tactical speed and genuine upside. Meech sticks. Top 3 player for sure.
Race 8 – TAB We’re On BM56 Handicap (1200 METRES)
1 FLAMBOYANT LAD – $6
Won well fresh and simply didn’t handle the heavy last start. Forgive run and trust the stable. Should box seat from the draw and launch late. If the ground isn’t too testing, expect sharp improvement.
4 SEATTLE HOPE – $19
Fitness building and suited back to this distance. Wide draw means she’ll need luck but has shown enough at times to suggest she can pop up in this sort of grade. Knockout blow not impossible.
6 VILLE DE LUMIERE – $11
Super consistent and handles all conditions. Drawn to do no work and racing with genuine honesty. If she sees clear air, she’ll be in the finish. Value hope at double figures.

Best Bet: HIDE YOUR ASSETS (Race 6) – Fit, consistent and found a very suitable race. Should be strong late.
Value: ZOUCAT (Race 2) – Been knocking on the door. Gets blinkers and maps well. Time to strike.
Each-Way: VILLE DE LUMIERE (Race 8) – Genuine effort every time. Can win this if things fall into place.
